Greenise = To Make Green

Dalton & Felicia Dooly founded the Greenise community July, 2009 after searching for resources and strategies on creating a green Lifestyle, and not finding information with solid value. “We knew if we couldn’t find the answers we were looking for, then others would be going through the same frustration.”

Unlike most sites we’ve run across, which are doing all the talking, we are a community based, with a goal of providing the most valuable information found anywhere on how you can live a greener life.  A life which will help your family, pets and your wallet.

And for the record! We’re not Greenologists; we’re just a couple with a passion to save money, live healthy and spread the love.

So we decided to launch an online community, where people can take what they like and use it in their homes, yards, and hometown communities.

A little personal note from both of us.

Hi, I’m Dalton! At age 9 my family moved to Destin, Florida. It’s been during the last ten years, I’ve seen the small town of Destin change, and as I watched, I realized it was not just Destin that was changing, but I was also.

I have realized that if I want my children to have the same opportunities I’ve had, especially with the economy the way it is today. Then I need to focus on stretching my Pennies and making them count. and we hope that we can strive to make or tips help you and your family. One of my favorite sayings is “It’s not how much you make that is as important, as how much you keep!”

Hi, Felicia here! In early 2008, I received my U.S.C.G. orders stating I would be stationed at the U.S. Coast Guard Station, Destin. With the relocation I quickly realized how important it is to make sure I am getting the most out of my money. Moving from the upper-Midwest to the tropical beaches of Florida was not just a culture shock, it was also a cost-of-living shock.

However, as Dalton and I started talking about it, we quickly realized, that as I get stationed in different locations around the world, we would be able to share what we learn on saving money and living green with other people. It will also give us a chance to see products and ideas from all of the U.S. and world, which can help our family and yours, let alone our wallets.
